I heard about you from a tele conference call which turned out to be a dialogue, to be held teice by differnt macrobiotic instructors. I moved from S. Florida to Nashville, TN a month ago, and although I don't percieve digestive disorders, I was led to Gayle Stolov and her partner Jaime, with whom I learned more about macrobiotic cooking( following a stay at Hippocrates Health Institute). I took a class with both of them and for a while ordered dishes to supplement my own. I am nearly 85% organic, and at least 50-60% macrobiotic. I do not have a digestive disorder that I am aware of but have a liver disease( a virus) that I have refused medical treatment for as it is a very rough healing process if it works at all. Along with this I have had difficulty with sleep /stress which I do reluctantly take medication for. If I can recieve help form a holistic practicioner here in Nashville as well as macrobiotic group classes, I would much appreciate it. My liver enzymes have lowered considerably and I did help a friend heal from an inflamed colon by applying my knowledge which is far from complete.A referral would be greatly appreciated now. With gratitude, Diane

Hi Ginny, I couldn't agree with you more. For the last 7-8 years I've had to use a feeding tube. That, along with life in general, makes it kind of difficult to cook and eat well. Everything has to go through a blender, but I still use grains, fruits and also various supplements. It's working. Great information.
